Overview
October was a rough month for me. I took a longer break from my ideals than I had planned and lost the connection for why I was doing them in the first place. Life is a constant wave of ups and downs, and learning to persevere through and learn from the moments where everything is not going your way is extremely important. I was able to reconnect with my deeper whys and make them stronger than ever before. Motivation comes and goes, often leaving when things get tough and you need it the most. What does not ever leave us is our deep why in life. Establishing and maintaining a strong why will propel you to any vision you make for yourself. When the going gets tough, you can always return to the reason you are doing whatever it is you decide to put your energy in, and the stronger and more emotionally charged it is, the further and further it can take you.
Towards the end of the month, I complete my next value: Unity. This ideal seemed especially appropriate after losing someone close to me. Whenever I would begin to get overwhelmed with sadness, I remembered that all the experiences I had with Koji are still within and as a result, he is too. I truly all beings come from the same place, whether you call it God, The Universe, Tao, or anything else, and return to when our physical body perishes. The definition I created is as follows: the purposeful act of looking within oneself to cultivate a deeper relationship with one’s core being, then utilizing this experience to connect with and uplift others. Best Meal
I decided to change up my avocado toast and make a couple of delicious breakfast tacos. They are pretty much the same except I swapped out the bread for some tortillas. I unfortutanely did not take too many other good pictures of meals but I will make up for it next month!

Highlights
- Towards the end of October, I had lucid dreams back to back for the first time in my life. They were both special in their own way. The first one I experienced involved the WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream) technique for the first time. This is where you fall into the lucid dream directly from waking consciousness as opposed to triggering lucidity within an already occuring dream. I woke up around 2 am and could not fall back asleep so I read some more of my book Dream Yoga by Andrew Holecek. Then as I went back to bed I tried directing my awareness to my throat charkra and I saw some kind of portal appear in the black vision field behind my eyes. I slowly fell into and went straight into a lucid dream. The other was special because it was the first time I triggered the start of a lucid dream with my tattoo. I started questioning the dream and did a few other reality checks, but none snapped me into lucidity until I looked at my wrist and noticed a small cloud where my tattoo should be. I was then immediately lucid.
- I got to spend time with my sister on her birthday and celebrate the start of her 27th year on this planet. I always enjoy my time with her because she has a way of supporting me through whatever is on my mind with calculated advice. She always seems to have actionable steps and small things I can do to address whatever I am going through. She is someone you always want on your team. I am so thankful for her in my life.

Upcoming in November
I am extremely excited for the month of November. I am posting this update a little late so it is already in full swing and has been incredible. I am visiting my grandmother to celebrate her 40th year of sobriety. I am then visiting an old friend and some family before returning home. My brother and I visited the land we will be moving to before the end of this year, which was breathtaking. I also plan to continue with my ideals; hopefully completing Integrity, Service, and one other.
